- Jumeirah Beach vs JBR: Are They the Same? (First, Clarify the Area)
- Before starting our journey, it’s essential to figure out where exactly you’d like to park your car – as you can see, it’s often a source of confusion. So, let’s take care of that in advance:
- There are two beaches that bear the name of “Jumeirah” in Dubai – Jumeirah Public Beach, or simply Jumeirah Beach, located in Jumeira 3, very close to Burj Al Arab.
- And the other one is called Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), or The Beach JBR, situated in Dubai Marina area, roughly 15 km away from the first one.
- Google Maps displays results near Business Bay in case you’re searching “Jumeirah Beach parking”.
In this guide, we will consider both Jumeirah Beaches and tell you how to park at each of them.
Jumeirah Beach Parking Places: Detailed Explanation 2025
Now let’s focus on parking at each particular Jumeirah Beach location. Depending on whether you are going to visit Jumeirah Public Beach or JBR, you have several parking options:
- Public parking on streets;
- Special parking zones at the beach or mall;
- Valet parking.
Keep in mind that in 2024, the entire parking system in Dubai passed to Parkin PJSC, and the new parking zone fees took place in April 2025, introducing premium and standard zones with various prices in peak and off-peak hours.
2a. Free Parking at Jumeirah Beach Parking: Is It Possible?
It will surprise you, but yes, free parking zones do exist. Here’s what you should know to park free of charge at Jumeirah Beaches:
Free parking spots on side streets. On Al Mehemal, Zaghoor, and Al Bateel Streets near Beach Road, there’re legal free spots on the street, but they get filled really quick, especially at weekends.
Overnight free parking. All parking zones managed by Parkin PJSC are free of charge from 10 PM till 8 AM the next day.
Public holidays. Parking is free of charge in all zones managed by Parkin PJSC during the public holidays in UAE.
Sundays. Sunday parking is free in all public zones in Dubai.
Bonus tip. Try to come before 8 AM on week-days, as free spots are usually available near Beach Road before the paid zones open.
Nevertheless, it’s impossible to park for free on Fridays and Saturdays after 8 AM since all parking spots get filled extremely fast on weekend days.
2b. Paid Parking Places: Pricing and Payment System
What to do when there aren’t any parking spots left for free parking? Well, it doesn’t make sense to circlethe area any longer, especially if there are many people around, as it is a common practice to pay for parking. So, here are some useful notes:

Standard zones (BP, CP, DP): AED 4 - Off-peak periods:

- Rates for parking in the parking lot of The Beach JBR are AED 20 per hour.
